Made in Shizuoka, Japan

There are many organic tea fields; however it is rare for a tea farm to have a USDA organic certification in Japan.
Also this tea corp. in Japan has acquired a certificate for the factory and facility
where they are allowed to process organic teas. They are rigorously regulated
and all Japanese tea is grown under strict governmental regulation as to the amount of agricultural inputs.
This high quality organically grown Sencha brews an earthy, full-bodied cup. Its leaves offer an herbaceous,
lightly grassy and fresh aroma. This is one of the few Japanese teas to be certified organic under the USDA seal.

Our preferred brewing: water 4 oz & 160*F / leaves: 1 teaspoon / steeping: 1 min. /
Hint: Adjust water temperature to enjoy earthy aroma with higher temperature or earthy flavor with lower.
