Omamori Necklace

Omamori is Japanese amulets used in the Shinto and Buddhist religious.
The word mamoru means "protection " with omamori meaning
"hororable protector".
The amulet covering is made of embroidered fabric and
encloses pieces of paper or wood with prayers written on them.
These beautiful amulets are supposed to bring the bearer good fortune
and protection on particular occasions, task or ordeals,
as well as attracting health, love and prosperity.
Wearing or touching the Omamori can insill a sense of
peace and well-being and be a remidner that
life can offer us hope in any stuation.
It is said that Omamori should never be opened or
else they will lose their protective capacities.
Each piece is treated in the blessing ceremony in Yoyogi, Tokyo.
