Kimono Bag by Italian Designer Loredana
For the modern woman with ancient desires in mind,
Loredana has created a series of one-of-a-kind silk pouches out of antique kimono.
The fabric is mainly silk, with hand-painted sections and pieces stitched with silver
and gold threads. Each purse is individually adorned with a variety of unique artifacts
such as Egyptian scarabs, Chinese bronze antique coins, jade figurines...just to mention a few.
Each bag is and artpiece, personalized with the signature of designer.
With it comes a piece of history reflecting the cultural merger of East and West:
a piece of history recycled in a hand-crafted purse, representative of a fusion of ancient tradition with modern times.
